Apple Pay now supports Bitcoin payments. However, support for Bitcoin is not done directly.

Bitcoin payments on Apple Pay can be made via the BitPay digital wallet, which can also be used with Apple Pay or the Apple Wallet application.

‘We have thousands of BitPay Wallet application customers who use BitPay Cards who are always looking for new places and ways to use their crypto,’ said BitPay CEO Stephen Pair.

Google and Samsung Pay will also support payments with this digital wallet.

It’d be easy to use the BitPay Card in more places, from purchasing everyday goods to luxury goods.

Although the future is still uncertain about the uses of cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin is good news for those who need alternative payments.

Besides, what BitPay is doing may be a transparent way for cryptocurrency holders to take advantage of assets rather than just hoarding them.

Thanks to Bitpay, which is the largest Cryptocurrency provider to create this opportunity for Bitcoin users.

Local news revealed that people would be able to buy apple apps as well as other services using Bitcoin, and Apple has already begun to function it.

The BitPay Wallet supports not only bitcoin but also other cryptocurrencies like

  • Polkadot (DOT)
  • Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
  • Stellar (XLM)
  • Chainlink
  • Binance Coin (BNB)
  • Ethereum (ETH)
  • Litecoin (LTC)
  • Cardano (ADA)
